Red: Chateau Pontet-Canet 2010

100 Point | The Chateau Pontet-Canet 2010 is a deep purple color, almost appearing to be black. This aromatic Bordeaux blend is recognized by its dominant notes of violet, cherry, blackberry and red currant. This wine is described as “dense and etherial” composed of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot with a dash of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Wine Enthusiast says “Dense, yes, but this is also a handsome wine that balances complex tannins with pure black currant fruits that shine. This biodynamic wine has a generous, full and rich feel, ripe with just a touch of restraint. The greatness of the wine shows in its purity with a deceptive simplicity that hides the final complex tannins and structure.”

Blush: Chateau d’Esclans Garrus Rose 2014

97 Point | The Chateau d’Esclans Garrus Rose 2014 is considered Chateau d’Esclans’ finest wine and is a world-renowned rose. Derived from nearly 100 year-old vines, it’s then aged in large oak barrels for eleven months. Wine Enthusiast says, “Always aged for a year before it is released, this iconic wine is impressive. It is super rich without losing freshness. Light wood toast, red fruits and balanced acidity meld together in a ripe, spicy whole.”

White: Trefethen Estate Chardonnay 2018

97 Point | The Trefethen Estate Chardonnay 2018 has bright aromas of lemon and lime with a perfect touch of white peach and apple blossom. With a lively avidity and toasted oak notes to frame the palate, this Chardonnay gives a smooth yet refreshing finish. Wine Enthusiast says, “This is an elegant, classically styled Chardonnay, brimming in structure and a light touch of ripeness. Green apple, stone and apple blossom tones rise to the fore of the nose and palate. It’s low in oak and supple in texture.”
